Pale Veil

In Pale Veil, the vertical trunks regain clarity while the surrounding field settles into luminous warmth. The golden ground is textured yet controlled, forming a subtle backdrop against the cool, pale bark.

The motion that once dominated earlier works now appears refined, almost transparent. Forms are present but lightly held, as though viewed through a thin atmospheric layer. The image feels resolved — neither tense nor dissolving, but balanced within its own quiet light. Robert closes the sequence with restraint, allowing structure and atmosphere to coexist in measured harmony.
