Locomotion

Locomotion, part of the Ripples collection, captures the forward momentum and energy of water surging through space. Twin bursts of soft white light streak across the frame like the blurred forms of trains or vessels in motion, slicing through deep gray and muted purple currents. Created through long exposure and refined toning, Locomotion bridges nature’s organic rhythm with a suggestion of engineered movement, evoking both water’s natural path and the kinetic energy of human-made travel. This fine art image adds a sophisticated energy to contemporary interiors or gallery displays.
